Receive personalized lessons in Chinese from a native speaker.
One on one sessions allow for us to personalize our lesson plans and make sure they fit your area of interest. If you are business person looking to do business in China, then you can expect to have a course that will give you what you need to navigate the business language in China. If you are a tourist to China, then you can expect to have a course that is geared for you to feel comfortable using Chinese during your trip. If you are just interested in learning Chinese, expect a course that will give you a general basis for speaking, reading, and understanding Chinese. The course uses the Integrated Chinese: Simplified Characters textbook series.
In addition to being tailored to your interest, the course will also provide you with some exposure to the Chinese culture to help you understand how the language developed and to help you as you navigate your visit or interest in China.
Private sessions can be held on-line, at your home or office or at an agreed-upon location (locations that are over 1 hour from Carmel will have a transportation fee).
Each session is about 90 minutes in length and are offered between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. We are flexible and weekend classes are also available. Please note that one class (90 minutes class length) per week is our minimum for private classes. For beginners, we recommend class twice a week.
Private classes start when you and your child are ready.
